Welcome to the Monthly Release Note!

This post will explain all the changes that are due to go live overnight on Wednesday the 13th of August.

Some changes will only apply to specific departments or business units across the group, so don't worry if any of these appear unfamiliar. Please contact your business analyst if you'd like to find out more about any of the changes in this post, or indeed if you have some ideas for change yourself.  

 

Purchasing

19087: Import Purchase Requisition Details

The ‘Import PR’ functionality has been developed to allow for excel templates to be uploaded. Once uploaded, this will then create draft purchase requisitions.

 

19199: Credit Card Importer - Edit Lines before Upload

Users who have the ability to import credit card transactions will now have the ability to amend transaction lines before these are uploaded to create Imported Purchase Orders. Please contact your business analyst if you would like to learn more about this.

 

19264: Remove functionality of Type on Purchase Requisitions populating on PO lines

The Type field on Purchase Requisitions will no longer populate on the description of PO lines if the Purchase Requisition has been converted to a Purchase Order.

 
 

 

Costings

19082: Budget Import

The Budget Import functionality has been developed to allow for both budget costs and budget sales to be imported directly against activities within costings. Users also have the ability to create the activities when importing.

Accounts

19052: Summarised Nominal Report - Weekly Payroll

When processing payroll nominal exports, a setting has been developed to group the lines present on the export. The page will group the lines by nominal code and description to minimise the number of lines present within the journal created.

Please note that the summary page will now show a table for nominal code and credit or debit amount. This will be present for all businesses.

 

19323: Display Sales Invoice Line Type on Sales Invoices

When viewing Sales Invoices, users will be able to see the Line Type that has been set on the individual lines within the invoice. This will only show when viewing the invoice, not when emailing the PDF of the pro-forma or invoice.

 
 

 

Appraisals

18894: Connected Conversations

Changes have been implemented to update the current Checkpoints system. Please contact the People & Culture team to learn more about this.

 
 

 

Reports

19212: Timesheet Report

A new report ‘Weekly Rate and Time Tracking' has been developed to give an overview of hours worked by personnel within a period, similar to the Weekly Timesheets View page. The output will also feature the rate(s) that have been keyed against for that day and the employee’s scan in/out times (if applicable).

 

19225: Project Register Report - New column for Date Received

The Project Register report output will now feature a new column for ‘Date Received’. This will be the date received field seen on project records.

 

19257: Labour Time Flat File to include Additions

Users will now have an option to ‘include addition lines’ when running the Labour Time Flat File report. If this is ticked, addition lines will be included in the output. If this is not ticked, the report will only include timesheet lines as before.

 
 

 

Dashboard

19110: Change to Project Dashboard Widget

A change has been made that when phases of a project are complete, the project will no longer show on the phase coordinator's dashboard. This is based on the Job Subtask Statuses setup.

19198: PO Widget - addition of new columns

New columns have been added to the Purchase Order widget seen on the Dashboard. These new columns will be for PO Status - who the approval is currently with and the level of approval, as well as the Supplier's Primary Contact.

 
 

 

 

Continuous Improvement
