Welcome to the Monthly Release Note!
This post will explain all the changes that are due to go live overnight on Wednesday the 11th of February.
Some changes will only apply to specific departments or business units across the group, so don't worry if any of these appear unfamiliar. Please contact your business analyst if you'd like to find out more about any of the changes in this post, or indeed if you have some ideas for change yourself.
Project Control
19782: Project Stage Field
A new dropdown field for ‘Project Stage’ has been added to both Standard and IS Projects. This field will be driven by a list that can be maintained within Evox. This can be customised via the list's homepage and is controlled by a security right - which is disabled by default. Please contact your business analyst if you are interested in using this field, and to receive information on it's maintenance page.
Timesheets
19781: Mass Placement Closure
A new button for ‘Close All Placements’ will be seen when viewing placements within a personnel record. If clicked, this will provide the user with a pop-up to specify the date to close all open placements. Please note that users will require permissions to access this functionality. Please contact your BA for access to this feature.

19653: Upgrade Reports to New Solution
Please note that the following reports have been upgraded. The filters and data available in report outputs should remain the same. If you do notice any issues please contact support.

Absences
19825: Remove Ability to Submit Absences with Zero Days
Users will no longer be able to submit absence requests that include zero days of leave. For example when booking blocks of leave that span multiple dates while taking zero actual leave days within that range (e.g. working one day, off the next, working again, all within a single booking period). Instead, users should create separate absence requests.
19826: Remove ‘Half Day’ tick box option from absence requests
The half-day tick box option will be removed from absence requests - currently when creating an absence request, the user has to tick ‘Half’ followed by either ‘AM’ or ‘PM’. Instead, there will be selectable options for Full, AM, and PM.
Continuous Improvement
The change requests listed above have been specifically planned and designed for implementation this month. However, there are some additional improvements that have taken place throughout the month too. Should you be interested in finding out more about these, you'll find them outlined below.
