Welcome to the Monthly Release Note! Continuous Improvement

Welcome to the Monthly Release Note!

This post will explain all the changes that are due to go live overnight on Wednesday the 11th of March.

Some changes will only apply to specific departments or business units across the group, so don't worry if any of these appear unfamiliar. Please contact your business analyst if you'd like to find out more about any of the changes in this post, or indeed if you have some ideas for change yourself.

Timesheets

19494: Estimated Timesheets

A new flag for ‘Estimated’ will be visible on weekly timesheets. If ticked and the timesheet is saved, this timesheet will not appear in payroll exports, but will appear in cost and sales accrual exports. A new report has been added to view timesheets marked as estimated. Within the Cost Accrual Export for labour, several changes have been made:

  • All additions flagged as ‘deduction’ will be excluded from the cost accrual
  • The percentage for calculating HP Accrual will now pull from the ‘Holiday Accrual Percentage’ field within personnel records on Evox
  • An additional line for HP ENIC will be added to the cost accrual, which will be calculated by taking the HP Accrual value x 0.15. This will be coded to nominal 50110

Please contact your business analyst to learn more.

19597: Weekly Timesheet Approval Process

Weekly timesheets will now appear within the Timesheets widget on approvers' dashboards. A new field has been added to personnel records: ‘Requires weekly timesheet approval’. If ticked, this personnel's weekly timesheet must be approved in order for the timesheet to be available for payroll to export. Please contact your business analyst to learn more.

Suppliers

19707: Supplier UI/UX Enhancements

Supplier records have been enhanced to improve user experience. Please note that the functionality should remain the same. If you do notice any issues, please contact support via the usual channels.

Purchasing

19771: Subtypes within PO Line Type Groups

Subtypes can be added against PO Line Type Groups. If Subtypes exist against the Group, PO Line Types that use this Group must have a Subtype selected. When adding a line to a Purchase Order, users will select the Group as normal. If the Group has any active Subtypes against it, the field for Subtype will be mandatory to complete - if the Group does not feature Subtypes this will default to N/A. Once the Subtype is selected, the PO Line Types associated with the selected Group and Subtype will be available to select. The PO Line Type will still show on the line description as before.

Please contact your business analyst to learn more.

19858: Sales Invoice Summary by Client Report
