Navigating the Planner
Permitted users will be able to view or edit the utilisation planner. These users will be able to scroll through the planner, filter the planner via facilities, and add non-productive time to assets via a Non-Productive Hire Form (NPHF).
| Colour Code | Description |
|---|---|
| Green | These are hire from VHF's |
| Purple | Internal Movements (Non-productive time) |
| Red | Liebherr (Non-productive time) |
| Yellow | Insurance (Non-productive time) |
| Blue | No operator (Non-productive time) |
| Grey | Repair/services (Non-productive time) |
| Light Blue | These are long hires from the VHF's |
Users can switch facilities using the filter in the top‑right corner. This allows them to view assets and availability for other facilities; however, unless permitted, they will not be able to edit another facility’s utilisation planner.
Assigning VHF's Via the Planner
To assign a VHF to an asset via the planner, the “assign crane” field will need to be left empty when sending to the approver. Once approved, this will then appear in the “unassigned forms” field, where the can:
Leave these fields as “select”

- Click & drag VHF's to their desired asset
- Move a current day and future VHF's to other assets
- Or unassign current or future VHF's that have already been assigned to an asset
- Unassigning VHF's will add them to the “unassigned forms” field

It's important to note that any VHF's before the current date can't be edited or changed via the planner. these would need to be directly edited via the VHF.
Assigning Non-Productive Time Via the Planner
Users can also assign non-productive time to assets via the planner by:
- Clicking directly into the planner
- Clicking on the + icon beside the asset
Both will provide a popup where the user will fill out:
- The type (crane status)
- Dates
- Date range
- Notes
And click “save” to assign non-productive time to assets
Non-product time can also be edited by double-clicking on the entry.
