Once you have installed and logged into the Evox app, you can begin completing your timesheet. Please see the following guide for installing and logging into the app: Installing and Logging into the Evox App.
Creating a timesheet entry
- When you first login to the app, this will either show you a current timesheet in progress or give you the option to create a new timesheet
- To create a new timesheet, click on the plus button within the current timesheet widget on your dashboard:

- This will create a new timesheet for the current week and look something like the below detailing the timesheet id, the week commencing date and an overview of the total hours keyed:

Adding Timesheet Lines
- To begin adding timesheet lines, click the plus button on the bottom right of the screen. This will come up with the below pop-up:


- The add line will default to ‘Line’ which is for keying time. In order to key timesheet lines, you must enter data for Job, Activity, Rate, and Work Type (If keying staff timesheets)

Job - This will show any active jobs within your business. Users can use the search option to search by job number or job title
Activity - This will be driven by the Job selected. This will show activities against the selected job and the user can search by activity code or title
Rate - This will show any applicable rates to the user. This will be driven by the rates set up within placements
Work Type - This is a dropdown containing different work type options. Please note this is a mandatory field to complete if keying staff timesheets, but can be left blank if keying weekly timesheets
Description - This is a free-text field that is optional for the user to input details of the time being keyed
- Once you have completed the above information, users should click the plus button that will add the below entry:

- Users will click on the Date field which will show a calendar view of dates to select:

- Once the date is set, users should input the hours/minutes against this timesheet line:

- Please note that you can add multiple date entries against the timesheet line. Once happy with the above information, users should click the ‘Confirm’ button to add the entry within the timesheet:

- Users will be met with validation like the above if the entry has saved successfully
Adding Addition Lines
- On the add line pop-up, select the Addition option to see the below:

- In order to key addition lines, you must enter data for Date, Job, Activity, Rate, Quantity, and Net Amount.

Date - This will feature a date dropdown for the current week. Users must select the date in which the addition is being claimed for
Job - This will show any active jobs within your business. Users can use the search option to search by job number or job title
Activity - This will be driven by the Job selected. This will show activities against the selected job and the user can search by activity code or title
Rate - This will show any applicable addition rates to the user. This will be driven by the departments set on addition types
Quantity - This is the quantity of the addition, users should input a number within this field
Net Amount - This is the net amount of the addition, users will input a monetary value within this field
VAT Amount - This will default to (auto). Users can input a monetary value in this if needed
Description - This is a free-text field that is optional for the user to input details of the addition being keyed
- Once users have completed the above information, users should click the ‘Confirm’ button to add the addition to the timesheet:

- Users will be met with validation like the above if the entry has saved successfully
Editing/Deleting Entries
- Users have the ability to edit entries by clicking on the timesheet line or addition. The pop-ups will reference ‘edit line’ or ‘edit addition’ and will allow users to amend previously keyed entries:


- Users can also add additional date entries on timesheet lines by clicking on the plus button:


- Users can delete date entries against timesheet lines by clicking on the red delete icon beside the date and time keyed:

- Users will then be met with a confirmation pop-up before deleting the entry:

- If users click ‘Yes, Delete’ the entry will be removed. If users click ‘No’, the entry will stay visible
- Users also have the ability to delete timesheet or addition entries by clicking the ‘Delete’ button on the bottom left of the pop-up:

- Users will then be met with a confirmation pop-up before deleting the entry:

- If users click ‘Yes, Delete’ the entry will be removed. If users click ‘No’, the entry will stay visible
Users also have the ability to delete the timesheet by clicking on the red delete icon on the timesheet entry:

- Users will then be met with a confirmation pop-up before deleting the timesheet:

- If users click ‘Yes, Delete’ the timesheet will be deleted. If users click ‘No’, the timesheet will not be deleted and will remain active
Submitting a timesheet
- Once users are happy with their timesheet, they will click the ‘Submit’ button:

- Users will then be met with a confirmation pop-up before submitting the timesheet for approval:

- If users click ‘Yes, submit’, the timesheet will no longer be editable and will be submitted for approval. If users click ‘No’ the timesheet will remain In Progress and will not be submitted. Once submitted the timesheet will show as ‘In Review’:

- Users can still view the timesheet lines and additions within the timesheet but this will be view only as submitted timesheets cannot be edited:
