Background

Evox is no longer integrated with our former training platform, Moodle. This has been replaced with iHasco, a provider of eLearning that focuses on supporting businesses with Health & Safety, HR, Business Compliance, and Soft Skills workplace training. Please note that when user accounts are created in iHasco - users are automatically enrolled in the six mandatory eLearning courses. Please contact the P&C team if any queries regarding this.

 

Evox and iHasco Integration

Linking iHasco Courses

For the Evox and iHasco integration to work, courses must be linked. To do this, users should navigate to the ‘Training’ tab within Evox and the ‘Courses’ page. 

When adding/editing a course, users will see a field for ‘Course ID’. Within this field, users will input the course ID.

Once inputted, users should click the ‘Resolve’ button. If the link to iHasco has been successful, users will be met with a pop-up like the one below to confirm the course was successfully synced with iHasco. Users would then save the course record in Evox as usual.

Please get in touch with the P&C team for a list of the iHasco Course IDs.

 

Training Records - Learning Hub Tab

Within Evox training records, a tab for ‘Learning Hub’ will remain present. This will allow users to create iHasco accounts for personnel.

Users will click ‘Create’, and this will open and populate the pop-up below based on information from the user's personnel record:

Once you click ‘Save', this will create a user account in iHasco and will send the user a welcome email to login to iHasco. Once created, it will show the following information within the Learning Hub tab:

The ‘Update Courses’ button will sync the user with their iHasco enrolments and update any course results. These would appear within the training tab of the record.

The ‘Delete’ button deletes the user's account within iHasco - this is not recommended, as it deletes all records of the user, including course results.

 

Training Records - Training Tab

The training tab will feature any results from iHasco courses:

The course will display in blue text if the user has completed the course. Users will also have the option to add records within the training tab. Adding an iHasco course creates an entry within their training tab on Evox and enrols the user in the course within iHasco.

 

Create Accounts

Within the Training tab on Evox, there is a page for ‘Create Accounts’, under the Learning Hub heading:

This page allows you to filter and search for personnel without an account set up with iHasco. To create an account, select the person(s) using the tick box on the left-hand side, then click ‘Create Accounts’.

This will bring up the below pop-up:

Users can either customise a password or switch to auto-generate a password. On ‘Create’, this will create the user within iHasco, and the user will be sent a welcome email from iHasco to log in.

 

Enrol Personnel

Within the Training tab on Evox, there is a page for ‘Enrol Personnel’, under the Learning Hub heading:

This page allows you to enrol users in courses on iHasco, provided they have an account set up. To enrol a user(s) in an iHasco course, select the user(s) and tick the box on the left-hand side of the page. Once selected, click ‘Enrol Personnel’.

This will bring up the below pop-up:

You would then select the iHasco course and then click ‘Enrol’. This would then enrol the user within the course on iHasco.

 

Sync Course Completion

Within the Training tab on Evox, there is a page for ‘Sync Course Completion’ under the Learning Hub heading:

The user will be met with the below, which will show courses linked to iHasco and when they were last synced:

This will sync the course and update any course results within training records for users enrolled in that course. Users can do this on a per-course basis by selecting the course using the tick box on the left-hand side of the page and clicking 'Sync Selected'. Alternatively, users can click ‘Sync All’ to sync all courses linked to iHasco. The last sync date will update to the current date once synced.
